little moments that fill a day (one day, today)
this is all we really have
- are my moments giving glory to God?
- are my moments showing the fruit of discipline and love?
- am I paying attention to them? am I making the most of them?
- is my love genuine without hypocrisy?
- are my actions above reproach?
- in each moment am I giving of what I have (money, time, talents) generously and without hesitation to those around me with needs?
- are my moments honoring God?
- are they pure sacrificial worship that glorifies and renown the reputation of our Just and Merciful, Faithful Lord and Savior?
(1 Peter 2, Romans 12, Philippians 2:12-18, Ephesians 5:8-20)
Prayer:
Good and Almighty God, thank you for filling me with the desires to make the most of every moment in my TODAY, and through the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in me, provides me with the power to act in accordance with Your good purpose and for Your pleasure, satisfaction and delight. Redeemer and King, I actively put my faith in You and your Word. I release my grip on doubts which are the fruit of the seeds of sin (past and present). I let go and I step firmly on the foundation of Your Word, to cooperate with the work you are doing. Lord I choose to make the most of these little moments, through abiding in your presence and strength and trusting in Your Word.
Thank you. THANK YOU!
You are so good, so very very good.
Your eternal purposes and promises are without fail.
AMEN
