Psalms 73:21, 22, 26 (emphasis added)

Psalms 73:21-28 helps me remember God is holding my hand even when I fall and fail

"I was a brute beast before you. Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand"
(I am thankful that the Sovereign Hand of God took me by my right hand not my left, to reign over my own powers and authorities)
"You guide me with your counsel and afterward you will take me into glory."
(I am thankful for the hope of afterward, this is a process that God is guiding me through)
...
"My flesh and my heart may fail"
(and often do)
"BUT God is the strength of my heart"
(to get up and try again, and again and again)
"and my portion forever"
(His sustaining presence and strength will never run out).

When my heart was grieved
    and my spirit embittered,
I was senseless and ignorant;
    I was a brute beast before you.
Yet I am always with you;
    you hold me by my right hand.
You guide me with your counsel,
    and afterward you will take me into glory.
Whom have I in heaven but you?
    And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
    but God is the strength of my heart
    and my portion forever.

*(words in the parentheses were added for emphasis by me for me)
